Elm Park Old Boy I got on a silent bus after the Cardiff game, to see a dozen vacant young-old faces staring at me morosely.
A couple of them made comments on the game ('we're going' down' - 'It's going up on Facebook when I get 'ome: 'madejski out'').
I realised I had raised the average IQ on the bus just by getting on it (and I ain't that clever).
When I ventured the opinion that I enjoyed the Cardif game more than the previous Saturday's borefest against Doncaster, one lad said: 'wouldn't you rather be bored and win?' (overlooking the fact that we hadn't wo nagainst Donny either)

gonesy Actually, like many games that season, it was quite competitive up to 1 or 2-0. In fact, I'm sure they very nearly scored at 0-0. Not sure why we kept winning those types of games that season and I doubt we'll ever see a season like it again at that level!
