You c*nter, I was hoping for the first time ever to start my own match thread :x . I cannot bear to listen to BBC Radio Berkshire so it will be Sky Sports News and/or text messages from friends at the game, perhaps I will share those particular texts with you so as you can get a feel of the mood inside of Deepdale; I like to share 8)

We might lose 6-0 tonight but tomorrow you may meet a beautiful woman, the woman of your deams, who inexplicably falls in love with you.

I'm afraid that drug is still very much stuck in development, so I'm going to have to settle for her falling asleep if I do manage to meet her.

Cheers Wimb, now that the thread is officially endorsed by me - a seal of quality approval if ever there was one - watch the goals fly in 8) .

I am so nervous about tonight, at the beginning of the season when a few people were giving up on the club, not renewing season tickets and so much else, i decided that i wouldn't be one of those, that i would stick with the club, through all this, after all i'd been through more in Division 2 and what not. Now i hate to say it but i think a bit of regret about that might be kicking in, is it a waste of a few hundred quid? Maybe so.

Anyway, rant over i still think a loss tonight, though on his performance against Watford i'd love to see McAnuff play like he did then and possibly grab a goal, to quote the official site he definitely had an 'almost dream debut'. I'm going for a 2-1 Preston after the Royals go 1-0 up through McAnuff. Will be listening to the game on BBC Radio Berkshire tonight, heaven forbid, i was going to make the journey. Not looking forward to this, or am i? This club is like a bloody roller coaster, always has been always will be. C'mon URZ!

Any team news yet?

Please tell me that that isn't the starting line-up :| .

The removal of Sigurdsson would rid us of our best set-piece taker, bearing in mind we have rarely scored from open play this season. The 4-5-1 formation however you want to dress the damn thing up needs someone with pace and mobility as the lone striker; whilst I doubt that Rasiak can be that man, I doubt even more that Church could be.

Good. Church will bring some mobility, and Gunnar will be invaluable on a cold, northern tuesday night.

Back the boys and make some noise....

Church does show some decent off the ball movement but I wouldn't necessarily say that mobility is one of his strengths. And the thought that Gunnarsson will be useful tonight simply because it is 'cold up north' and he is from Iceland is quite laughable!

Sig needs a rest, and the thought of playing Marek and Howard together in the same midfield at Preston would be truly terrifying.
