winchester_royal Can't we all just be happy with the fact we ended the unbeaten home record of the 3rd placed team in the table. Preston are a very good team, brilliant at home, and we've won. Rodgers has done that, the team have done that.

Tis indeed, but the second half was nail biting stuff again which is what really worries me about Rodgers. What did he learn from Mourinho? Certainly not the real lesson that the "special one" taught. The PNE manager was on the back foot and had to change something at half time, but all he could do was make changes to counter what they'd met in the first half, so you change something too - almost doesn't matter what - and the oppositions' changes are negated.
I'm very happy and I hope Rodgers goes on to become our greatest manager so far, but I'm a long way from convinced by tonight.
