I don't think we should criticise too much. Preston were third in the table and unbeaten at home. An excellent result.
Lets hope the winless home run ends on Saturday. If it does things will be looking up.

Of course, superb result. And I'm willing to bet it was partly our performance that forced them into being so apparently crap in the first half.

But it is a worrying trend that we have totally lost control of the last three games in the 2nd half when we have dominated (if marginally) in the 1st half. You could possibly add Cardiff to that list and make it four, although I'd not want to say for sure as I wasn't there and can't remember the reports in enough details.

Cautious optimism is required for the time being. Plenty still not right to worry about yet.

ReaLOL aLOLe! I don't usually celebrate goals that much but when Kebe scores and floyd isn't there it's bloody well worth it!

Think i would of finally lost my patience with Rodgers had we lost that. An hour gone and we were in control, preston were passing the ball out of play far too many times and Federici had only had to deal with a couple of long range efforts. The problem with what Rodgers did is that he upset the centre back pairing by throwing Mills into the mix, maybe he could of waited five minutes or so as we looked capable of scoring another on the break more than PNE looked like scoring themselves. That said it was nice to have a bit of fortune on our side which hopefully you'll see when the BBC highlights come up tomorrow as well as two terrific saves fom Federici.
Now McAnuff has come in i think we'll settle down in this formation and we'll slowly get there. I think if Kebe has a good day RFC have a good day at the moment and for an hour you could see a decent future for the season ahead, lets hope its not bits and spurts for this. Plenty of hassling from the midfield will force opposing teams to give the ball away and Bryn was sensational again last night as part of this.

Think Brendon should wear a tracksuit more often!

I've only just got back from the game as I cycled. Timed it wrong and missed the game. So cycled to Blackpool and had an ice cream then cycled back after that.

Great to see we won at Preston.

I've never forgiven them for that shite they came out with re: Md Dog and warming up in their half.

Can anyone who was there or can see better than me tell who was the one who made the tackle that set up Church?

I'm pretty sure it was Karacan putting the ball through for Kebe. Well taken goals.

Also who was it who put the ball across for the own goal - McAnuff miss combo? Which by the way, I thought looked to be at quite a hard height for him to be able to get something to quickly enough to put it away, especially with such close attention from the defenders.

Amused by the 2-3 references to the Alamo. I wasn't aware that such an historical Texas event had made it to football metaphore across "the pond".

BTW, I grew-up in Texas so I had to learn all about Alamo history.
