Who in the current squad has the best first touch?

by Thaumagurist* » 02 Oct 2009 16:34

By first touch, you know I mean receiving a pass, how a player is able to make use of the ball with his first touch. Does it unintentionally bounce off the shin, forcing the player to chase after it? Does the player bring the ball under superb control? Or is his control of the ball dependent on how the pass was made?

Well, my question is, who is this guy in the current squad that is able to control the ball with the first touch, whatever type of pass was made - i.e. in the air, from the ground, bouncing pass etc etc?

Let the debate begin....

(I haven't nominated a Reading player cos I have not yet seen the new players in action!)

Some times it's Kebe, sometimes it isn't.

Indeed. And the man rarely loses the ball when he's got it.

Shame he has no pace, and stamina any more.

Gunnarsson's is pretty good. Think Sigurdsson might have it though.
