As you say, the however many points we have now are all down to 4-5-1. That's relegation form, Ian.
How many games have we started 4-4-2? All we do is chop and change. Team, formation... No settled anything.

Three. Now answer the question. How is a formation that sees us taking double the shots of the team with the majority of possession negative?

We hadn't gone over 8 months without a home win back then though. Leroy scored that day as well

How effective is the 4-5-1, Ian? Come on mate, it is horrible to watch and often very unproductive.
4-4-2 means we have width and 2 strikers waiting for the crosses.
I don't think this manager has a clue, and I haven't turned on him. I like the guy, but his team and formations change more often than my underware.

Ian Royal So not really answering the question still.
M'boro are simply better than us this season. Yet the difference between the two teams is clinical finishing. And in case you hadn't noticed Rodgers has kept the same formation for the last 3 games, and the same team for the last 2 now. So we're are getting stability.
You're reaction suggests you were expecting us to get a result today. That was stupid.

cmonurz I'm beginning to realise that the reason I'm so fed up with the situation at RFC is that if we accept that we had to sell/release all the players we did to balance the books, and that we can't or won't compete with many clubs in this division on a financial basis, then it makes results like today's completely inevitable. And I struggle with that, tbh. Games we just won't win, 9 times out of 10. What's the point?
