Part of the 106 so he'll get polite applause before the match but not sure he's got the status to be worth a cheer.

I'll be moaning like oxf*rd every time he backs in/falls over against our defenders though.

If its as successful as when he did it for us, I shan't complain in the slightest.

FiNeRaIn Not sure really, dont like booing players as they always pop up and score. Reading fans will boo as they are fickle - put money on it.

Any excuse to knock our fanbase which never quite measures up to your expectations eh, Finerain? I think you are wide of the mark again here mate, from my experience returning players who have served us well always get a very generous welcome back.

We've always applauded former players in the East Stand.

Although there was laughter when Andy Hughes came back with Norwich that time.

Polite applause from me.

Despite off-the-field problems, never got the impression he wasn't trying on the pitch.

And a key member in the greatest Reading side I'll ever see.

Damn, should have taken your money - although can't say I've ever heard a crowd applaud an opposition goal even one from a complete ex-legend (which is hardly how you could describe Lita).

I could not believe it when Reading supporters started to applaud Lita during the game........i clapped at the start of the game but after that whistle went for the start of the game,i could not give a damn about this man,who had his chances in the last couple of seasons with us and just did not deliver! I know us Reading fans have not had much to cheer about in the last year especially at home, but applauding other teams players when they score(even if they are ex-players) surely is not right......however peed off we are as fans at the minute.

still does not mean we should be applauding him for scoring against us however good a goal it was (it was a good finish though...i have to agree on that)

Put more effort in yesterday than he did his entire time with RFC. Couldn't stand the bloke when he was here, had no idea there were so many gimps at our club that would applaud him on his return.

On "Goals on Sunday" on Sky this morning, Lita was quoted as claiming the first goal as well - and Sean St Ledger was interviewed and conceded it to Lita. Apparently Lita claims he chested the ball over the line - which was otherwise going straight at Federici.

Of course the national press have all given it to St Ledger, but it looks as though Lita may have a good claim for it.
