weybridgewanderer Follow their 2 dreadful defensive mistakes today and one on Thursday night, could Celtic be about to recall Darren O'Dea?

Far CanalREALROYAL Watford goal. both boro goals down to him,
You're blaming a central defender for not picking up an opposing defender making a late run into the box (first Boro goal)?
Shirley that's a striker's or midfielder's job.
Agree that he was badly at fault for their second goal.
Re the Watford goal, I thought he looked at fault, but Mick Gooding blamed Federici.

Its what happens.............twenty great "well-read" clearances are irrelevent when the one f11ck-up leads to a goal.......the defence and goalie are there to be sniped atHozza Ivar was meant to be picking up St. Ledger at set plays yesterday, and for their first he didn't.

brendywendy i liek the lad, seems a good player, makes teh occasional oxf*rd up when being over run
but i just dont see the point iof him if we have 2m mills on the bench, basically we are just working to improve a celtic player, as soon as hes good enough he'll be off
thoigh by the sound of his interview in teh programme he couldnt wait to get away

Kitson12 What are the chances of extending his loan past January?

facaldaqui When he came he made no bones about the fact that his aim is to get in the Celtic team and that he chose Reading as the club where he thought he could learn most towards that end. Presumably that was based on Rodgers's reputation as a coach. I wouldn't be surprised if O'Dea is now less sure about that, but who knows?
I can only think of two scenarios whereby he might stay. If Celtic tell him to. And if it he gives up the idea of making it at Celtic and decides to consider a future at this level instead. If I were him or Mowbray, I might be questioning the value of the present loan rather than thinking of extending it.
