Maguire I think those calling for his head after so few games and such a tumultuous close-season are the ones who need to provide justification and reasoning.

You've been around a long time old chap, you will recall Terry Bullivant. He came in after a great side had been broken up, made a wretched start and we never really looked safe from danger despite a mid-season mini-revival. The fans never took to him, yet many urged patience, give him time. He finally 'resigned' in March and by then we were bottom of the league without any realistic hope.

Terminal Boardom Another boring, pointless thread made worse by me adding to it.

What ^ said.

FTR, I like Rodgers, I just think he's shit. Tinkers too much, stupid tactics. If we reach 20 games and we're bottom 6, he should go before it's too late!

Where's the energy? Where's the fight? Where are the determined performances?

Where's Jay Tabb?

The biggest difference between this season and 97/98 is that we now have the nonsense that is the January transfer window.

And Mags, that is as blatant a cop out as anything. So easy to point the finger but not so easy to put the hand up.

LOL @ the transfer window - can you REALLY see us buying anyone? Probs sell a couple though, like Tabb and Matejovsky, so JM will be pleased.

there's never been a window yet we haven't bought someone.

We've got plenty to be complaining about, but that sort of reaction is petty and stupid.

And big wow if we do get rid of Marek. His sole contribution is two spectacular goals. Over 2 years.

Smoking Kills Dancing Doe He gets to Dec.

Will give a new manager a month to see what we have then Jan to do something about it.

We should be hoping Rodgers pulls it round, but still keeping an eye on who we can bring in.

:| Thats exactly what I said on here a few weeks ago and you didn't agree saying the manager wouldn't need a month to look at things before the Jan transfer window.
Anyway its what I think. Rodgers still needs more time but if things don't improve very soon the fans are going to start giving him a tough time.

its difficult to be noisy when your team not only fails to win at home but can't even score. So far I honestly think as supporters we have been incredibly patient but another poor result against Leicester will change things and it will start to turn against Rodgers.

^ I get the gist of Ian's post TB...ie noise as in Rodgers out...merely alluding to the flat atmosphere being due to continual witless home performances.

I meant there'll be more noise when the fans start chanting:

"Rodgers out."

"Brendan Rodgers; what a oxf*rd, what a oxf*rd."

"You don't know what you're doing."

Etc

so why say something about my post about the noise levels that makes it look like you didn't have a clue what I was on about.

That's a good memory there mate. I can't remember the bollox I spout on here!!

But as I was saying, give Rodgers till the window opens, then if we aren't in a good place sack him and bring a new guy in. He'll only need a min to figure out where our problems lay.
