I can't see the logic in sacking him at Christmas. It may take a few weeks to find a new manager by which time the Jan transfer window will be as good as closed. If he goes it has to be at the start of December because even Madejski would surely provide some funds for any new manager. Shirley?

Greed. I said until xmas but January is so mental now what with the transfer window and everything, early to mid-December seems like the best time to get someone in.

If we're in the bottom three at Christmas it will have to be looked at, not least because if a new manager comes in he might want to buy a few players.

If a surgeon turned up for work and told all the old doctors, nurses and staff were over paid and being released but you could have some kids from school to help you perform a very difficult operation would you expect the surgeon to get 'results' in first few minutes, maybe you would support the guy and realise it may take a bit of time!!!

believe me Ideal...I am one of the clubs biggest critics right now.

I have my reasons to b critical which may differ from yours, but (unlike you) I do not spend 20 hours a day running my mouth on a website about games that I haven't even been to.

Not really sure when your change of persona happened, but Hilary is still very dear to some of us.

Tak

Ideal I'm sorry, but I fail to understand how anyone can possibly be happy with the state of things right now, despite this there are some people who continue to drone on about how everything is fantastic and about how the Special Needs One is such a fantastic manager.
It's quite funny how they ask for more time for the big watch man.

I guess some people are just taken in by the hype, I can only assume these are the very same people who watch the ads on tv and go "wow, I did not know I could save that much on car insurance"
sorry cock

you guess wrong...........now give your arse a chance to speak

Believe it or not, you have to spend years and years studying and training to be a surgeon. Nobody sacks you because you can't perform open heart surgery 3 months into your degree.

No one asks you to run an operation whilst you're training. Rodgers has had 16 years in football and has been a professional coach for for about 10 years and a manager for about 9 months. In your analogy he's passed his exams and been hired in a fair sized hospital. And he's now leaving his watch in his patient's abdomen.

Maguire I think those calling for his head after so few games and such a tumultuous close-season are the ones who need to provide justification and reasoning.

5 loses. Abject second half performances. 2 goals at home. 2 wins, 1 barely, the other against the then worst team in the division. Formation that a blind man can see doesn't work. Awful substitutions. An awful subs bench. Awful formation changes mid-game. No sign of improvement game on game.

What's your's?

So I can summarise most of that by saying that the results thus far haven't been up to what we would've liked? Well that's true, but 11 games in to the season after a massive cull of personnel in the summer and a load of new signings don't you think that maybe, just maybe, it make take more than a few weeks to put together a decent side?

Barnsley are higher than us now, so what's the point in discounting a win against "the worst side in the league"? They were bottom at the time, but that doens't mean they're the worst team. They did WBA 3-1 at Oakwell last week, using your peculiar logic, does that make Rodgers better than Di Matteo? Did you think we should've sacked Coppell when we lost 3-0 three times in a row? (well yeah, you probably did).

"Awful changes mid game" - you all hate Kebe and you all want two up front. So, he takes off Kebe and puts another striker on and guess what, HNA is jam-packed with condemnation. It's ridiculous.

Patience and time, patience and time. Things might not work out but spastic overeaction before September's even over is ridiculous.

Ideal It's getting hard to tell, I mean these guys like Royalee, winchester_royal, Suck Poo, and that other guy AtefecesnPizz, they would say something like that and mean it!
Clearly they are happy to be losing as long as it means the world class model is in place, and have probably bought a big watch each just so they can show the world they believe we just need a bit more bedding in.

Yeah we should all listen to a fecking wakner like you who never goes to games. Fcuk off and take that pcunt Thou Voice with you.
