That's funny, because we didn't even sing that. :?

Err...yes we did...at the very end when Howard blazed over from 8 yards, right in front of us.....maybe you had left by then because it was 3-1.

I'd already left before the 3rd goal. I apologise.

Just got home from the game (via an hour spent in the nags). Good positive start in the opening 15 minutes as we dominated the game but then for the next 75 minutes i dunno what happened.

The only player that stood out for me today until he was subbed was Matt Mills. Plus his gf is fine, Compo's Hat has photographic evidence only thing we forgot was to as Rock or Con Air!!! :x

Good skillz from the lad on the right, having a sneaky peek.

By the way, good to see everyone sitting down and having a thoroughly shit time. Will it be like this at QPR?

Man Friday Kebe - tried hard, often succeeded. One of our better players today

Which in itself explains succinctly why we were so oxf*rd awful.

Sorry, shouldn't be posting as I didn't go. And do you know what Mr Mad? I ain't going to another RFC match until BR or yourself goes. Made the same commitment to my sanity in 1999 - luckily I didn't have to wait too long. Praying it'll be the same this time around

My comments after the Cambridge away game 14-08099 in the database: "Went to this game. Biggest shower of shit I'd seen in a long time. Left with 20 mins to go with Cambridge leading 3-0 and looking to win by a street. The Reading players had no ideas, passion and were frankly appalling. As I waited in the car park for the locks to be taken off, I swore I would never watch Reading again whilst oxf*rd Burns was the manager. Thankfully I didn't have to wait too long. oxf*rd Burns was sacked barely a month later with the Royals languishing in 23rd place! Must be the biggest con artist in football."

Burns, you have been usurped by Rodgers.

There's at least 3 players today I never want to see play for Reading again: Long, Cummings and McAnuff. You had to be there to see the difference between the 2 teams. When WBA broke, they went hell for leather. We were ambling on the break in comparison. Like I say, this is a relegation side with a pub team manager. And stop kidding yourselves that we've got a good group of players. We did have but they've all left and instead we've replaced them with dross. There was a chasm in skill and general class between the 2 sides today. It could have been 5. We were lucky.

Was it me or was McAnuff scared to take on the defender each time he got the ball?

Well Brendan, you've officially lost me. Where the oxf*rd is the passion, togetherness or bravery that we have come to expect from our team. Bloody useless. A few points:

1. Press the ball you useless twats.
2. Pass the ball to each other you useless twats.
3. Stop hoofing it up to 5'8 strikers you useless twats.
4. Cummings had the worse game I've ever seen a Reading player have. Thomas took him to the cleaners without having to play well.

Scared of getting bundled over. His skinny little legs provided no support when the defender kept charging into him. So he kept out the way for the second half. FO McAnuff back to Watford.

No different to other games this season.

And who said the following

We had good control of the game after we scored.

We should do better - even at 1-1 we were still in the game - but we have been making mistakes in a lot of our games and we present goals to teams.

We are capable of being at the top of the table but we become too vulnerable and we have to become more ruthless."

how can anyone say Kebe was one of our better players? He didn't touch the ball second half and created nothing.

Only Karacan, Fed and Mills had decent games.

Might as well have played with 10 today as Cummins was truely awful. Thomas had the beating of him all day. Never once stopped him from getting a cross in and even when he showed him outside, Thomas beat him on the inside.

McAnuff's mistake cost us all the momentum we had. Not sure if Fed had to come charging out like he did but seeing the replays at half time, Cummins didn't react to the mistake, hence Thomas was able to get there

Not sure why Bertrand went off, double vision maybe and Mill's one looks like a knee ligament injury

All in all, a typical Reading performance, good for 10 minutes, crap for 80

No. Not enough leg room.
