3 centre backs out there - Mills, Ingi, O'Dea. Then Cisse, Tabb, Bryn, Kebe & McAnuff.

Sure it's not 3-5-2?

I've had a roast dinner.

The last time I had a roast dinner before a game was the last time we won a game.

All I'm saying is, if we win tonight, it will have nothing to do with any skill any of our players show, but all down to me and my roast pork :)

Live updates
7pm - Reading's team is in and there are five changes as we go 4-4-2. At the back, Jay Tabb plays right back ahead of Shaun Cummings, while Darren O'Dea is left back ahead of the injured Ryan Bertrand. Brynjar Gunnarsson comes into midfield ahead of Jem Karacan, while Shane Long and Simon Church play up front, Noel Hunt injured and Brian Howard on the bench.

Haven't seen anything of Reading this season. but I can't for the life of me work out what system he is hoping to play.

The last time that Gunna played as a full back we conceeded 7 as I remember, and where in the name is Marek??

Thankyou previous poster that explians all

Shows how weak the squad is

We still have no quality upfront no matter what combination Rodgers goes for this time

As much as I want us to give the guy time, he really does need to get something done about the goal threat and stick by what he thinks is his best eleven

At least he has had the balls to drop Cummings though

A bit tough on Karacan as he was best player on Saturday. Is he being punished for getting frustrated with BR?

Allowing for Cisse instead of Gunnar...... still no sign of Matejovsky.can't say its a side that fills me with any confidence. Church and Long up-front is preferable to Rasser and Hunt though.

just heard the interview on Berks. Back to basics, and they're saying, quite rightly, that we should have gone back to basics at the beginning of the season and gradually bought in the fancy stuff rather than trying it for this long.

Ark Royal

Harsh Ark but probably very true.

My first reaction to the line up was that it gives a chance for more experimentation. 352 or 532 as well as a prefered 442. Lets see what happens. Come on you Royalz :D
