I agree. The problem with this division is that there is not much to choose between teams and if we don't start winning soon every team we play will think we are an easy touch and that a game against Reading is a must win game.

We could be involved in a relegation battle; we could be in a promotion war; and we might be fighting for mid-table mediocrity. That's the beauty of football, all options are open at this stage of the season. It is one reason why I like being in the CCC rather than in the PL, where that excitement is greatly reduced because you know you aren't going to be involved at the top end. The really great thing is that once the season pans out and you know for sure that you are in one of those contests the excitement doesn't abate fo the real fan - you just want to win your particular competition.

As Madejski has cut the cloth to the bear threads there is only one way our club is going …….. and it isn’t up. FFS the clubs transfer targets are kiddy loan players at best and puppet Hammond can't even secure them . Couldn't put it better myself. I just hope that with all this scrimping and saving that Madejski's loans are now all paid off, and the club is debt free. It had bloody better be or else there are serious explanations to be made as to where all the money has actually gone. The accounts to 30 June 2009 will make interesting reading.

The limit of Madejski's ambition is clear - stay in the Championship until all his loans are repaid and a buyer is found. The fans should not delude themselves otherwise.

I've been abroad the last two weeks in the sun drenched Far East, away from papers TV etc.

And what have I come home too? , at The Mad Stad I see we beat Burton (wow)Drew with Forest and Swansea ... stuffed by SU and Newcastle, scored just one goal in the league. Another £6 Million in the Madmans back pocket and completely fecking useless Hammond still can't negotiate a deal to save his life ( Nugent and Smith just two out of how many? we've missed out on).
Transfer window shuts in 9 days ................ don't expect much we never buy, look at the last 3 seasons and especially when you hear Rodgers say we dont need to replace Bikey... in other words Madejsky says no money. The Madman is killing the club with a sledge hammer brick by brick.
