Seen worse than that Oxford game between now and then.
QPR are a good side this year.

yuomi "It was a tough night. I can understand the reaction. I've never experienced that but I've always been taught to fight. I'm not worried. Better managers than me have had that.
"It's not nice but can you blame them? We were poor. But it just makes me more determined.
"We've had a horrendous start. But what people maybe don't understand is it's a massive task here.
"My ambition at the beginning of the season was to be up there, but the reality is it's a very difficult job - all the best players have left.
"I want to give people a chance but I can't watch too much of that."

IF he said all that then he's clearly going to start losing the players if this has not already been done. Despite their best efforts to sustain a level of play they do NOT need public humiliation. Pretty telling really that Rogers seems to be out of his depth. All the good is being undone. Even the QPR supporters i chatted to last night were shocked at how far we have fallen off.

A matter of time.....

Its 07.51 - i've been in office and trawling internet for the big news. But it seems that Rodgers is still the Reading manager. Can anyone explain why?

The last 3 games we've not even competed, so as I see it we're actually getting worse. It looks as if the manager has lost the players and although the players are oxf*rd for doing this, as they should play for the club, it's innevitable that when this happens the manager must go.

Monday live on Sky.....lets not get embarrassed on TV, so sack him today and we can all get behind the team again.

I read that Rodgers has said he "can't watch much more of that", well unlike him we fecking pay to watch it, so how does he think we feel at the moment? Comments like that will only piss the players off even more and surely at some point he has to take some blame for the constant changes in personal and tactics.

RRRAAHHHHHHHHH!!!

If we lose badly to Leicester then I think John will do the deed.

Who we replace him with is crucial.

He would come here, I have asked him that very question myself. He though doesn't think he could work with the interfering Madejski.

Yes we can, we would not pay up the enire contract, it would be something in between.

£200k would probably do it, less than a decent player.

Rodgers will be gone within the next 48 hours. Heard whispers that Gordon Strachan is in the frame but I can't see that myself. Southgate is the only logical replacement. Or Coppell...

There may be a clause that if we are in the bottom 3 after, say, 10 matches, we can sack him with only £X compensation. Who knows?

I don't understand why managers get compensation when they're sacked. Whenever I get a new job I sign a contract, saying that I persistently perform poorly they will go through the disciplinary procedure before sacking me. I know these contracts are different because they don't involve time periods and require notice from me to leave etc. They're effectively rolling. If somebody gets made redundant they get compensation related to various factors. When somebody gets sacked for poor performance, they don't.

Why should football managers, who are already over paid and wealthy enough, get a massive pay off for being crap at their job? It made my blood boil when McLaren took millions of the tax payers' money for doing a shit job with England. The money we give the club for our tickets should not go to Rodgers for the same reason. The systems is ridiculous.

Unfortunately that's the way it is, and things will have to get worse before Madejski acts.

I am now with the rest of you on this forum.
I have given him the benefit up to now, but it is time to bite the bullet and get things sorted. He is out of his league and his verbal clap-trap is now sending me deaf.
