Dirk Gently Not a prediction, but have you realised the significance of the last time we played Leicester? 25th March 2006?

Seems a long time ago now. :( Only one current Reading player in this picture.

[quote="Ideal"]With Rodgers still in the job:
RFC 0 - 8 Leicester

I have been thinking about that demolition job by Bristol Rovers when TB was in charge. I feel that another 6 - 0 is not too far away!

Royal Lady If the players "supported" Rodgers, we'd have gone hell for leather a lot sooner than this Monday. for a start, we would have capitalised on being against ten men last night.

they scored last night from the free kick after the sending off- due to ...probably feds chronic decision making, knocking our totally fragile confidence when we would be thinking about a goodchance of 3 points
after that we were totally shell shocked, and QPR are a good side
TBF- BR has bugger all influence on any of that from the sidelines
everything he then tried to get across at half time was then buggered due to the ref wanting to even up his horrific sending off in the first half.

just playing devils advocaat

Being butt raped by a team with one player fewer than you because all your players are standing around doing nothing whilst the others are finding space all over the pitch and running rings around you is not excused for being a bit upset and surprised that someone scored from a free kick immeidately after a ludicrous sending off.

Reading 0 Leicester 7

Kingsley runs over and mauls Rodgers at Full time, by which time there will be only 5 people sat in the Upper West stand, all looking quite lonely, wondering what all the fuss is about ?

We lose 2-0.

Start well, Fed makes another mistake by not coming off his line or just general shocking decision making.

But its alrite because hes young and it doesn't matter if he costs us points.

I suspect this could be difficult to win.

Quite a comfortable home win, earning Rodgers a stay of execution

Back to being utterly shit at Coventry

New manager in charge for Ipswich

Reading 1 - 3 Leicester

O'Dea nets the goal for Reading from a corner in the first half. McAnuff plays a blinder then gets subbed after 60 minutes. Second half we fall apart, Leicester bang three past a hapless AFed. Cummings and Kebe are dogshit again.

The Upper West crowd turn on Rodgers and start pelting him with prawn sandwiches.

Reading 0-6 Leicester City
Coventry 5-0 Reading
Reading 3-0 Ipswich

Rodgers admits the team could still be top of the league, and Madejski says we still have full backing of the clown

I predict
All eyes will be on Edgar Davids latest shades and hair braids - whether he plays or not.
No-one will notice that Reading start brightly but fail to capitalize and in an otherwise uneventful game Reading lose by the odd goal or three.
Rather than a riot most fans will be sat with their heads in their hands at the final whistle.
Come Tuesday Mr Mad will have to announce a decision.
(Steve Gibson & Gareth Southgate saved him having to make one this week.)

Of course I hope I'm wrong,

madmickb ...and we will find ourselfs in the bottom 3
That will likely happen Saturday.

And the (Long) 1 - 1 (Oakley) draw on Monday won't be enough to put us back into 21st.
