Dick Habbin's hairdo
Deathy So then, we have bitching about CHURCH, and LONG comes on and.... nuffink.

But neither of them scored - or even had a shot on target?

It's 2am - I'm off to bed to let the effects of Viagra wear off......

church had one of our 3 shots on target out of about 16 efforts

I dont think Rodgers is to blame for tonights defeat. W played some great football. Just needed a striker who could hit the target. Southampton just got hold of David Connelly on loan, cant help thinking someone like that would have had a field day.

(sigh)

Im not going to bother reading all the crap here. We played well, we lost undeservedly. We clearly need 2 very good strikers as long and rasiak are hopeless. Brendan will not get the time or patience from the ridiculously small minded reading faithful and could soon fall victim to their calls for him to leave.

Why are we so cursed in front of goal? We done everything, the workrate was great, the football was great, lady luck is just not shining. Yes maybe a class striker might help, but our lot are low on confidence, We cant blame Brenda, its obvious the team want to play for him, we just need the rub of the green.

It seems a little ridiculous to be drawing positives from a 1-0 home defeat, but this was nothing like QPR. From the comfort of my sofa with a beer in my hand, I thought we played well. I expect it was somewhat more depressing being there.

agree totally, could and should have won this, with a half decent forward line we would have scored 4 at least,

I have to say I thought we looked really good tonight. I think that Rodgers must have found his best team. If we play like that (and score) every game we will be ok.

Thank god the only glimmer of a smile I have is I watched that in Florida, so can soon forget about it.

Im sorry but this team is hopeless and going down. Simon church is the biggest laughing stock centre forward I have seen.

Rodgers simply has to go.

Agree with the positives from this game, played some very good football tonight, and I thought we were generally unlucky. Down sides, hell how we need a striker that can take these chances, and a central defender that can run faster than snails pace, up side Marek total class !!!

Rasiak and Church let the side down big time tonight. Watching on t'internet that was the most pathetic excuse of a performance from two Reading strikers I have ever seen. I thought the midfield did well enough and with a decent striker we would have won comfortably.

and who do we replace him with ? Even Fabio Capello couldn't get our strikers to score !

Some of Matejovsky's passing was outstanding. He is a class act but whats the point? He's totally wasted with such feeble forwards.

Performance is not as good as results and sadly you can play the sexiest football in the league but no goals is no wins, frankly we are now the joke of all the 4 leagues with the lowest goal count, i can't see a way out unless we suddenly find a player who has the skillz to find the back of the net. Unlucky more like school boy errors in the box.

i agree with most but i do not want to watch us in league 1 next season.

if that means brenda has to go then so be it.

i dont think we need a striker we just need to score then confidence will follow.
