Not a big loss, and has made a few odd decisions with injuries in the past, one of which partly led to our downfall from the Premiership.

If he's that dodgy, then why do Chelsea want him? :|

Where did I say he was dodgy? I just said he's made a few odd decisions with regards to treatments in the past. It won't be hard to find another physio......

Ive heard that we have lined up Linne Kendall from Twyford as his immediate replacement.

He has an excellent pedigree, and years of experience. The only slight glitch on his career was telling someone to run off a blow to the shin area whilst acting as physio in a game just after Elm Park closed, only to find that the player had a double compound fracture of the Tibia and Fibia. Other than that, he's our man.

Fearn was part of a very progressive set of staff put together by Pardew.

I think he's been a hell of a lot better than Paul Turner ever was but I think the biggest influence on the injuries we've sustained and not fixed very quickly over the last few years was Naill Clark leaving with Pardew.

Be interesting to see what role he goes into with Chelsea though, and perhaps why he's decided to leave now?

You're blaming the physio for us getting relegated, it's a little bit funny.

Another one of the high earners is off, JM must be loving it.

A move to Chelsea isn't likely to be turned down.

I said "partly", and there are quite a few on here who have said that having Little missing for that season was a big factor in us going down.

It has been admitted they got his treatment wrong which led to him being out for nearly a year rather than 3 or 4 months.

That depends doesn't it?

Head of Medical Science at Reading or Assistent Physio, Reserve Team Physio, just one of the rank and file Physio's at Chelsea...not such a cut and dried decision I'd imagine. Especially as Fearn also has his own Physio practice to run and he's been here for some time.

Maybe he just needs a new challenge? Maybe he's poached for a similar profile role at Chelsea as he is here? Maybe he doesn't agree with Rodgers/Halabi's approach and methods and feels he's been pushed aside or can't work with them?

Who really knows, but he's been here for 7 or 8 years now under two managers without moving on, maybe that just means it's time to move on.

Didn't Convey come out and say that his diagnosis for his knee was incorrect?
