Excellent Result. Signs the light is dawning on Rodgers.

Poor team selection at QPR, but the right decision to revert to 4-4-2, game could have been different without Ivar's sending off (not result necessarily, but certainly the quality of the performance).

Much better team for Leicester and a vastly improved performance. Caught a sucker punch with an excellent header at a corner and some slightly questionable defending. Lack of confidence showed infront of goal.

Mostly the same team today, another good performance by the sounds of it, goals came and we got the result. Still shakey at times. But another step forward IMO. Not convinced by Rodgers' bench, although injuries may have been a big factor. Not convinced he's quite got the balance right for the long term, but he's definitely hit something that seems to have the potential to drag us into some semblance of form and confidence.

We really need to keep a similar if not identical side in the next game (no more than one change) and put in another decent performance. Really nothing less than a win is good enough, but Ipswich will be a difficult prospect now they've got a win, and we have really struggled at home.

I don't like to say it, but I think I'd accept a draw there if the performance was good.

Rodgers is winning me back a little at the moment, but he's still only giving himself a stay of execution at this stage.

do you look at the table, if we win next week we will be at least 4th bottom, and have about 4 teams within reach, better than to have lost and drop back into bottom 3 and further from mid table.

^ Agree with you Ian. Its our third win away from home which is pretty decent at this stage of the season but we will always struggle unless this nightmare home form ends.
Ipswich are improving and would be mid-table if they hadn't lost so many goals at the death..so it won't be easy but its a game we have to win..if only to end the winless home run.
Still its a great result today and if Rodgers turns this round well done to him.
He hasn't lost the dressing room so there is hope for him yet.

However if we continue to be inconsistent then we'll stay where we are.

True and when you see where Leicester City are in the table is suggests there is nothing much to chose between the teams in this division. Our away record is ok. The home record has to change and this ridiculous run has to end. It needs to start with Ipswich as back to back wins should give this team some confidence.
There is some hope but we had that after Barnsley and Preston so best not to get carried away.

I think everyone is being pretty steady about this result. If we don't sort the home form out it will be another false dawn but at least we won today and thank God we did as the table would have looked terrible.

I am glad that Ipswich won today actually as I would not want to be playing them when they still hadn't won a game. I have been watching Reading for too long and it seems as though every time that comes around we will always lose to them. Especially when its been highlighted in the media.

True, but Preston seemed to have been down to Kebe having a good day and Preston's finishing being not quite good enough/Federici's form being slithly too good.

Today is more about a team performance that lasted all match, not just 60 minutes.

Then Rodgers job is very much on the line and he's probably one game away from the sack...but you never know we might beat Ipswich. The home form has to change at some time.
