I wish it was anyone but Ipswich next week.

I'm delighted with yesterday's win, the away record isn't bad actually. It's unfortunate that the next match is Ipswich Town at home. They're still bottom of the table but reports all season have suggested their performances were much better than their results, and now they've got the monkey off their back with the 1-0 victory over Derby County, I fear it'll be a tough challenge for Brendan's boys on Saturday. I remain, as I have consistently, confident that Rodgers will not only steer Reading away from the lower depths of the table this season, but will lead you to The Premier League within three years or so. The only danger is if he's not given the time to complete the job.

Not to the same extent perhaps, but Ipswich will be thinking a similar trend of thought. We've dominated the last 180 minutes of football we've played, for the first time this season, and all three teams that were in the relegation zone won.

It doesn't matter who you play, you have to play them sometime and I am glad that they won yesterday. If they hadn't won before playing us then I would be worried about saturdays game as I have been watching Reading for long enough to know what would happen.

If ipswich win with the Plymouth and Peterboro results going against us we could be bottom next week.

Ipswich win - Rodgers sacked
Reading win - Keane sacked

I think we'll get stuffed.

Im not worried about saturday, im very excited for it. Playing 442 with this good football and our more creative players on the pitch e.g marek and Sig, we look really good going forward, i think we can open up Ipswich, the players will all have confidence aswell, which will help

I'd like to see Karacan come in to give us a little more bite and resistence in midfield personally.

But I'd be happy to see an unchanged team as well. One change is definitely the max.

Don't care who it is! Maybe Ipswich having won might get a bit more complacent as we did after beating Preston. Of course that could always happen to us too. And Keane said in his post match interview that the Derby win yesterday was the worst they had played in a few games.

What does that prove? cock all.

So our next win could well be Derby. They seem to be on a bit of a slope!

My mate, an Ipswich season ticket holder, reckons Liam Rosenior is doing ok. Anyone know if he is allowed to play against us next weekend..?

Such a coincidence that Ipswich get their first win the weekend we win. Looking forward to Saturday. Lets see if saturday wasn't just an anomoly...

Also, I'd bring in Karacan for Howard.

Since Pearce has come back into the team we've had two good performances and looked fairly solid at the back, so you'd drop him and go with the defence which shipped 4 at QPR?

To be fair, it only shipped two whilst Ivar was on the pitch.

Exactly.

And if we win Rodgers bashers will be the first to point out it was to the bottom team and discard it.

Oh no actually have I just been the first to point that out?

i predict it will be a terrible game. Both teams beat poor sides this weekend and expectation will lead to total utter dross.
