Water the pitch liberally so it's nice and slippy and pressure him so he has to time and place his passes well. Rosenior will then be totally neutralised.

No matter how mince a player is it is utter nonsense to allow them to play against their parent club.

Rosenior is a pretty average CCC right back, however is is far better than the bloke Rodgers bought to replace him. Plymouth thought it couldn't do any harm to allow Marcel Seip play for Blackpool....that was until he scored and Blackpool won 2-0.

It would make absolutely no sense whatsoever to allow rosenior to play against us. I hope it's nonsense.

It was clearly not his choice to leave and we just made him go to cut costs - all clearly set out in the EP article. I think he really wanted to stay with Reading.

After that, however, I hope he falls over a lot and we score 10.

Bollox to that. I am not usually churlish enough to give returning ex-players stick, in fact I usually tend to prefer ex-players to our current crop and I am first to put my hands together and applaud them.

Rosenior, however, was absolute pony throughout his time with us. He spoke about becoming England's right back when he first joined us; as a claim so outrageous that it contravened the Trades Description Act. He then spent 18 months falling over, shanking crosses into the North Stand and being caught hopelessly out of position. Rosenior has been a regular in a side which has only managed one league win this season, another mark of how bad a player he truly is.

Presumably the laon deal is structured £200,000 up front and say another £200,000 if he signs permanently for Ipswich. If he signs for someone else as a free agent however we will get nothing more.

You might be waiting a awhile. McAnuff's been playing right wing and Rosenior is a right back.

He'll be up against Siggurdsson unless Rodgers makes some changes. I hope Kebe's fit. Bringing him on with 20 minutes to go and watching a tired Rosenior try and deal with him should be a laugh.
