New manager on the way?

by Tommy Jones » 30 Oct 2009 20:15

From very reliable sources, Alan Curbishley has just left Sir JM having spent the entire day in talks. If we lose saturday he will be in charge come Monday lunch time!!

Ideal I wish this was true.
Unfortunately I fear JM&Hammond are blindly refusing they got this appointment wrong, and will stick by their decision until the bitter end, even though what makes sense is to just cut our losses and get a new man in.
you want it, you've got Mike Newell (from my reliable sauce)

Walked out on Norwich due to him thinking they lacked ambition, so for that reason he can feck off, also was manager of THAT 2-0 game

I have been told by a VERY reliable source that Capello has been locked into talks with SJM for most of yesterday. Only interrupted by Mourinho who arrived for lunch.

I've been told that the ghost of Alf Ramsey was at the ground today with SJM. He had Tea & Scones, but complained at the lack of Ginger Nuts...

Sir Alf, Sidwell and Kitson couldn't knock this motley crew into shape!

Don't see why not, Rodger's is now starting to make a decent fist of it.

Two good performances in a row. A sensible formation, playing decent football and making chances. Less leaky at the back and a bit of balance in the middle.

We're improving. But it's only a start and it obviously needs to last more than two performances and one result.

PS one in five, same as every other five game run we've had.

Until Rodgers has won the league with 107 points and got us into Europe he'll be considered a failure by some !
