Some bloke called Jake Taylor scored twice for us.

shaka's shorts At half time, Brizzle sorted it out and changed their tactics, we lost control of midfield and were totally out played.

shaka's shorts Just back from the game - agree with Dr Z.
Familiar story, played 4 2 3 1 formation, worked well first half and we were clear leaders - could have been 3 or 4 nil. At half time, Brizzle sorted it out and changed their tactics, we lost control of midfield and were totally out played. We had a very young left back 2nd half (Carl McHugh) on for stretch and he was a major weakness with all of their attacks down their right wing. Of the first teamers Stretch was good but Cummings, Hamer and HRK disappointed. For what it is worth here is my views player by player
Hamer 6 - at fault for both goals, failed to come for a cross for the first and was slow off his line for the 2nd. Otherwise tidy, but I expected better
Cummings 5 - gave it away cheaply, only made one decent attacking run and cross, looked indecisive. In a tema of kids he should have stood out and he didn't.
Stretch 7 - as always solid, intelligent and passed well, taken off at half time
Jack Mills and Angus McDonald 6 - both centre backs did ok - tall, a bit of pace, decent on the ball, but not too physical. Both promising
James Rowe (DM) 7 - bit of a Jem Karacan, worked hard, passed well, but a bit light weight
Oliver Bozanic (CM) 6 - same as always, neat, tidy but doesn't influence the game enough for a centre midfielder with hsi cfredentials
Jake Taylor (AM - just off striker) 8 - best player on pitch first half. 2 excellent goals - the first was an accurate shot off the post from edge of box from a neat pass from baggie and 2nd was a clinical finish on the turn in the box (similar to the one church hit the bar with on sat), second half he faded, but was still our most creative passer, good on the break too
HRK (LW) 6 - disappointing, at this level he should stand out, more physical than the other players as he should be, but too often hsi runs lead to a poor cross, weak shot or runs into defender
Bell-Baggie (RW) 7 - promising, he is quick, tricky and can pick out a pass. Very small and lightweight and not eady for the first team, but he is very young and could be very good
Andrew White (CF) 5 - poor, not easy playing as loan striker, is tall and skinny, not enough pace and not dominant in the air, did not affect the game enough, can't remember him creating anyting or looking like scoring
Subs Carl McHugh (LB for Stretch 45 mins) - not fair to give him a mark, think this may have been his first reserve game, didn't look bad, but Brizzle must have put in about 10 quality crosses from his wing and all of their threat came down this side. Brizzle targeted him and we suffered big time down this side
John Goddard (CM for Bozanic 70 mins?) - didn't do enough to give him a mark, no mistakes and a few decent passes / tackles. Did OK for such an inexperienced player
