rg6royal Feel really sorry for the Irish, would have loved to see them go through, they deserve it.
Henry, hold your head in shame...

handbags_harris ^^^ This. Henry, I felt, was a beacon of fair play during his time in the Premier League. The man was held in high regard in Harris Towers, and he has now plummeted down a long way after that. I'm sure Mr Henry will be feeling absolutely gutted at this latter revelation.

URZZZZZZZZ Never liked Henry, a joy to watch when on form but an absolute whinging cry baby when not. Not so disimilar to Fabregas these days.
Commiserations to Ireland, if I was in their situation I would probably be close to tears. Probably shouldn't have been playing France in the first place, Platini will be rubbing his hands now. France will go onto win it next summer now, mark my words.
On a seperate note, congrats to Algeria. A sense of justice following the heart renching way that qualification seemed to be snatched off them. Takes a lot of bollocks to bounce from that!

TBM Surely people should be having a go at the officials, not Henry....i'm sure in that split moment he just instinctively stuck his hand out and handled the ball BUT as anyone who plays football knows........you play until the whistle, if the ref or lino didn't spot it - whats Henry to do???

There has to be some place in the game for honour and sportsmanship.
