1871 Royal Just seen on SSN that all the players are going to club together and refund everyone's tickets from the Spurs game because they are so embarrassed! Quite a nice gesture that, I don't think, many other football players would do.
Just want to say again that its the players putting up nearly £15,000 for all the tickets not the club.

Stranded Sorry but I do just find it to be a fairly empty gesture - sure it helps the fans out a bit but they will still be out of pocket having travelled down etc...

Oh come on, it was hardly a home game and a lot of money to give up. How few hundred actually went to London to see it?
£15k between how many players? What good hearts those multi multi millionaires have.

Yeah, wat the players should have done is employ some sort of secretarial (sp?) service and had all the fans who went fill in claim forms and submit petrol receipts/trains ticket stubs etc then added on an amount to be negotiated between them and the fans (say around £20) to cover food and drink which they couldn't prove purchase of.
Anyone self employed who took time off to travel down could have also then claimed for loss of earnings.
wats WHL these days 50 notes
£50 back > feck all back
bitching about this is just about the gheyest thing ever

Who's bitching, just saying it seems like an empty gesture that's all - that's my personal opinion if you don't like then fair enough.

Would you expect something back after a 3-0 defeat? It's not much different except that you got more entertainment in a 7-4 defeat.
