I'm going for the same scoreline as last year - 2-1 to us - even though we could not be a more different team! Probably rain the same too.

Brendan Rodgers was desperately disappointed after seeing his side 'throw away' three points against Sheffield Wednesday

Jimmy Kebe opened the scoring on 62 minutes and we looked odds-on for all three points, but strikes from Johnson and Clarke turned the game on its head.

Brendan said afterwards, "I'm very disappointed. For the first hour we did well, our organisation was good, we were a threat and we looked good going forward. We were good value for the lead and I thought we would get stronger.

"But once we went in front we started playing poorly. We're disappointed with the goals we conceded and our game management then was poor. Late on it was a war.

"I said to the players we need to see the game out better. For an hour we were the better side, without being at our best. Once we scored we should be able to pick them off.".

Wednesday away was one of my favourite matches last season. A highlight was the man behind me shredding Kebe for the entire 2nd half, however doing it loaded with humour and not the normal mindless insults. The come back was pretty good too....Had a disappointing start though - a group of late Reading fans standing in the rain outside for 20 minutes because of some slight security alert. I still blame the trains.

I think we'll win. 2-1 Royals. Church to open, Wednesday to equalise, Rasiak to score the winner.

Definite loss. 2-0? 1-0? Something of that order. We're not due another thrashing just yet having received one from QPR only recently.

Schards#2 Rodgers - the man who brings every team's poor run to an end, except Reading's.

3-0

Sheffield Wednesday haven't won in 6 and have lost each of their last 3 home games. This surely absolutely guarantees that we won't get a result Saturday now .

You'll be far too busy rating vegetables, I'd have thought.

Well, Sheff Weds just lost for the 3rd time in a row on Saturday. That will not become a 4th loss as Reading like to end the bad form of a team.

Also on the back of their 4-0 thrashing at the hands (or feet) of WBA. I think they'll be tighter and with our leaky defence I see a final score of 2-1 possibly 3-1 for Sheff Weds. I can see us scoring just about but certainly no more than 1. We won't keep a clean sheet and we are leaky at the back so this is why I believe we are going to lose.

Wednesday are desperate for a win.
They have reduced home adult prices to just £10 (that's cheaper than Conference football) and are dishing out some kind of clapping cards.
A nervous game all round and Reading to reverse their normal leading then fade away to going behind and coming back to save the game at 3-3.
Plenty of mistakes in the wet conditions producing at least one penalty.
