If Pompey can't sign any players, why would they offload anyone?

Why on earth were they trying to sign a guy who was released by Crewe?

Tommy - you may have decided to go to Pompey for better wages but at least at Reading you would have got paid ...the beds been made now so you'll just have to lie in it ! ...happy days ......

Guess the other question is whether Avram rates you as highly as Hart did...

Sign him up. If Pompy go out of the cup and continue to struggle financially we could well see him in a Reading shirt.

Anyone know at what point a player can walk away from their contract due to non payment of wages?

I would imagine it's as simple as at the end of the notice period stated in his contract.

IIRC it is quite a short period, something like 20 days or so.

According to todays Mail , not only have they failed to pay the wages but they are also due to make payments to both Spurs for OHara's loan deal and for the transfers of both Smith and Williamson - what happens if they default on paying Watford -does Jimmy R get them back??

As they are indepndent contractors, rather than employees, I woud say as soon as the contracting company fail to pay your invoice as they are in breach of contract.

I'm just hope they are still grateful for the great job good old 'arry did for them.

Do you think the press will mention? WIll they fcuk, to busy having dinners in honour of the guy.

EVery single club he has ever managed have gone bust...

Also shows why LIverpool we're prepared to pay £18m for Johnson. Pompey will do well to see £5m for him.

club wracked with underhand dealings - look at Storrie for example - not tried and found guilty but definitely a smoking gun there...the CPS isnt going to go to court if the evidence isnt there!
