Forbury Lion
Binfield Royal 1. not a Reading Player and hasn't been for 10 years +.
Thankfully the thread header of "LINVOY PRIMUS" does not mislead anyone as to the contents so those who don't care can click elsewhere.

Once a Reading player, Always a Reading player. Until we get seperate forums for The Current Team and Past Players it can stay here.

Binfield Royal 2. this thread should be moved to General Football
Disagree.

Rule of thumb regarding ex-players:

1. If it's about their time at Reading, it's The Team
2. If it's not, then GF.

Fine here IMO.

Ok but how come anything to do with Shorey, Sidwell, Kitson et al gets moved?

as on the pitch, so it is on the boards - no consistancy

If it's a rumour or speculation about one of the above rejoining then it gets moved to unfounded rumours and gossip.

If it's a thread about how they are getting on at their new clubs it gets moved to general football

If it's a thread about short people or people with ginger hair it gets moved to anything else

If it's about one of them selling something it can go in classifieds

If it's a thread about their time at Reading it can stay here (or get moved here if posted elsewhere)

If it's about something one of them said in the press about their time at Reading then it can also stay.

If it's about all of the above then it'll either get deleted because it's a wind up or moved to all forums.

I'd strongly suggest people read his autobiography chapters on his time at Reading.

Very illuminating.

Go to waterstones, open book at relevent chapter, read it.

Just how the Bullivant, Burns and Pardew eras unfolded from someone on the inside.

There's a decent bit on the Deadline 7 and the Death Row 5, for example, plus how Pardew did the right thing by him at the end.

My abiding memory of him is that he was an excellent player prone to some really dodgy back passes with us.

Really pleased he went on to have such a good career. Wish he could have done it with us, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.
