Isn't it registered to two clubs in a year, so we could take him on loan with a view to signing him in the Summer. It won't happen though as Thorvaldsson plays in the same position.

Think you're probably right - agree with previous poster though that a club going bust is what the league really needs to stop clubs thinking that they will be rescued however mismanaged they are.

For someone to take over they will have to understand they would need to take a £20m+ hit which may never be paid back to them. £11.7m HMRC, £9m Gaydak and £1.6m Sol Campbell are the figures that I can recall. Add this to the exortionate player wages and other current debt and debt interest, it would be potentially the worst business proposition imaginable. Saying that, stranger things have happened I guess. I thought that the debt taken on by Abramovich at Chelsea was considerably higher than that - and don't West Ham owe £60million or so; of course, those clubs have higher status and earning power, but still ....

Chelsea have no debt though. All converted to equity. Same us happened to us.
