Matejovsky is the one to blame for the second goal - a shocking pass by him led to the goal.

Yep, he admits it here, which is more than can be said for our goalkeeper http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ap7dSqFRCZI&feature=channel .

Mark of a good player when they can stand up and admit a mistake.

Shit positioning, he should be exactly where Clyne's left hand is.

No he shouldn't as the defender is supposed to be covering that area which he didn't.

LOL, a defender is ALWAYS supposed to be covering a shot, they DEFEND the goal which is why they're called DEFENDERS. Does excuse Federici's atrocious positioning - it wasn't even as if the ball was shifted from left to right, the whole move came down the right hand side if you watch it back on the highlights so there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for Federici to have not been covering his near post.

I thought you had a go at me for daring to suggest Federici should have had it the other day TB?

Compo's Hat And to think our cLOLueLOLess cLOLown thinks we have some of the best goalkeepers in the world here and that was before last night.

Nearly LOL'd at him at the fans forum when he said that!

Hamer and McCarthy are good keepers.

Fed has been a weak link for much of the season and seems to be happy when pointing the finger elsewhere. He was certainly at fault for the first on Tuesday and should have done much better with the second. There is also the Sheff Utd blunder plus others I am sure. Remember Man Utd cup replay?

My gripe with Fed is that he is not taking responsibility for his own actions which seems to be a bit of a problem with this team - no-one taking responsibility.

So no Royalee, not having a go at you as such

Andersen could probably be included, too.

You really are a oxf*rd pain in the arse.

Can you see the whole oxf*rd goal? Is anyone able to gauge any perspective from the photograph? If you are so oxf*rd perfect go do it yourself you miserable syphyllitic dung-beetle. Everything is so oxf*rd black and oxf*rd white for you. As if everything stands still while the ball moves towards the goal. oxf*rd!

And my point being that you can not use one photograph as irrefutable evidence that Fed's positioning was wrong.

The bottom line is that we are making too many mistakes. Make them near your own goal and shit will happen. Too many players shirking their responsibility.

Negative_Jeff Leaving his ability aside I just don`t like Federici. He comes across as surly, lacking in charisma and looks like an egg. Mind you the whole squad are a pretty joyless bunch, as is most of what passes for our support.
This is a grim time to be watching Reading. All the above and six defensive outfield players line up at home against Colin.
Makes you weep.

To be fair that sounds like any aussie sportsman!

Toxteth O'Grady (USA) Consistency - the great panacea. What the commentators, including the clubs own staff and players, fail to realise is that you can't just sit consistency as the simple answer.

Many of the players are not good enough to compete at the top end of this division (Federici is one of them - he is a rubbish keeper -but I voted for Shepherd as the worst by the way).

To get consistency, we need consistently better players. That means some new players and it means picking the best team. We've improved and then the manager makes arbitary decisions to change the team.

Destined to struggle for these two reasons in summary

- players generally not good enough for our lofty aspirations
- Odd manager makes silly decisions

Change that - consistency follows.

Sad but true
