To be fair the 'keeper made 2 or 3 very good saves apparently. I don't think this is Rodgers fault, just one of those days that even if we had a team of kevin doyles we would only have scored once

RobRoyal Shocking result. We're not going to get ourselves out of trouble with this sort of home form. One point from Palace and S'thorpe is disgraceful.

Really, really disappointed :x

Agree, 1 pt from the last 2 games isn't good enough, expected at least 4. Tbh im nowhere near as disappointed as i was on Tuesday as despite this being a must win game i really wasn't sure we'd win after the Palace result. Plus, it seems as though we played well, unlike on Tues.

Surely even trying someone like Hal Robson-Kanu or recalling James Henry to play upfront is better than just having Rasiak on his own......Mooney must come back......how much we miss N.Hunt and dare I say it....Shane Long.......sorry I meant Simon Church!!

We are led to believe that the guy Thorvaldson is goingto be here in January, if that is so why the hell didnt Hammond get tis deal done before the loan window closed, as its not like we havent been trailing for a while. !!

should have won 5-1 today. All season we have not got the results are performances deserve.

Sig will never again have so many chances to score in one game.

Gunnar will hopefully solve the finishing issue in jan.

Cant keep playing ivar and pearce though as too slow together.

Fundamentally we have the potential to be comfortable top half but dont have the winning mentality at the moment. Keep the faith and it will come

Your one of them, aren't you?

How many matches should we keep the faith for, perhaps another 73, would that be enough?

No - heres what you do - you get your arse back inside away from the country fields and snap back into reality.

DO YOU SEE?

so we are going to rely on a guy that has never played football in England. Dont feck about get Barnard in from Southend, pay the money do the deal, he is scoring regularly, and is no real reason why he cannot do it one step up.

That is rubbish! I am sorry, but that is just pure rubbish!
Of course you get the results you deserve.
If you play ineffective football, you don't win. Simple.

PremAddict How bad does that 2m centerback signing look now

LOL @ Brendan Rodgers
He is hopeless in the transfer market.

We should get Simeon Jackson, or someone like that.

We are more likely to sign Michael Jackson...mind you he may offer more than Shane Long!!

Agreed, have thought that for months. He's a class act for Gillingham.

One Doyle was good enough to win a game away to Spurs. I think 2 might just well have been good enough to see off Scunthorpe.

Rubbish. The chances we were getting we should have scored plenty enough, and would have done with more than one goalscorer with any experience at this level on the pitch. With Doyle we'd have had a hatful.

Have you been to the games recently? If you had you would have seen that the performances are much better and the side more settled.

Rodgers was never going to be able to come in and fix things overnight and it was always a long term project that required patience from the fans. None of us know if he is going to be successful in that project but i have seen enough recently to say he deserves time still.

The problem being he caused half our problems this season himself with his woeful early management.

He's shown a lot more promise recently, but still with some pretty oxf*rd obvious mistakes.

What i meant is that our general performance level is good, but our inability to take chances and propensity to let in stupid goals means that we turn wins into draws and draws into losses.

Not sure Dellor should've backed down in that interview. I've never said or thought 'Rodgers out' til now. Rodgers has to justify himself and the team's performance to the media and supporters. Shocking and disappointing.
