Just heard it on BBRB, and it was no where near as bad as i expected, I think the comment about TD not being involved was tongue in cheek, BR did not say we were great, just that he can see improvements, and to be fair the number of shots we had would have won most games, also he explained why Berty was missing and he had to change the team late on, prsied Tabbfor being versatile, I reckon is what I would have expected from a manager after the game.

Listen again. I though he was joking at first but as the interview continued, it became clear that he really was riled and you could almost hear the venom being spit when he told Dellor that he clearly wasn't a true fan because he had criticised the team!

As a texter to BBCRB subsequently pointed out, perhaps he's beginning to feel the pressure and is peed off at carrying the can for his boss!

I think Dellor is a 'local boy' and as such was a true supporter of the club even before he started working for BBCRB. Local radio is all about favouring your community!

No its not a joke. The majority of the teams in the list were above us when we played them. I make them good results, apart from the losses, although Palace can be a very good team with 1 excellent, potentially world class player who, on his day, will tear any defense to bits.

It's all about opinions and if some people think today's play was worse than Tuesday's they're entitled to say it without being told they're "not a supporter of this club". Arrogant barsteward. I'd love it, if JM told him tonight he thought we played better on Tues - wonder what he'll say to him.

tbf we played 10x better than on Tuesday and should havbe won by a street if out players could bury it.

As I said previously, regardless of anyone else's views on the game - if someone has an opinion, even if the manager doesn't agree with it during an interview, he only has to say "well, I have to disagree with you there, but you're entitled to your opinions" not "you're not a true supporter if you think like that" - Dellor said what he said in response to some texts that had been sent in, Dellor obviously agreed with the sentiments of those texts also, but BR wasn't just slagging off Dellor, he was slagging off other supporters and THAT, imo, is totally out of order. He's paid to take the rough with the smooth. I found it quite interesting that no-one around me at all whilst waiting to exit the stadium bothered to clap the players when one or two came towards East Stand to clap the fans.

The general feeling, surely, is that we're not playing well - we're not grinding out results, and in one or two cases, the players aren't putting in 100%. Perhaps Tim will let me interview Brendan on Boxing Day (I'm not going to waste good money going to Bristol now) and we'll see how the manager responds to a "true supporter" who has found this season to be one of the worst they have ever encountered in terms of play, results, team selection and tactics.

The Convey goal was also a one off

Watch the same video and see excellent pass and move for the goal Convey scores against Hull. You can not argue that all of them are "a one off", it was our style of play to counter attack, and it was VERY effective!

Of course they weren't all a one off, that wasn't my point. I was just referrring to the first goal against Millwall - The last defender made it too easy for Convey after diving in like that.

I very strongly AGREE with your sentiments that we need to be more direct even if that means being less flamboyant (Our current style isn't bearing fruit anyway). We lack an up and at 'em approach which I think the Championship requires.

I don't think beautiful possession football (which is what Rodgers is after) will get you promotion. Last year, both Swansea and Doncaster were playing this way, and, impressive though they were, they never got to the playoffs. So even if Rodgers perfects this style, I still don't think it will be enough. What's needed for promotion is incisive forward play and grit at the back--the two very things we lack at the moment.
