1000 lads on the beers at Ashton G8 > 3000 daytrippers at the Emirates

Negative_Jeff A packed and noisy away end.
A month early but tickets are now on sale for the prospect of a big away day. Twelve years ago this week, the last campaign in which RFC were relegated from this division, saw us take 3000 to Leeds for a midweek Coca Cola cup tie. By comparison the away support this season has been dismal for such an ambitious and forward thinking club such as ours.
I know, I know, they are a nasty bunch at Brizzle, the pubs are crap and we often lose. But the Rodgers revival will be well under way, there is an opportunity to stand up at the back, and the short trip provides the perfect opportunity to swerve the Christmas shopping.
And the National Express coach stops off at Calcot at around 2AM.
