Can't believe no takers for Benitez. I'm gonna be rolling in it when I win this one. I might even have enough cash to help invest in the rebuilding the 'sqwad'

Royal Rebel My guess is that Lawrie Sanchez would be short odds.............. oh and cheap.

If that happens then unless we make a clear improvement then I may just follow the example of a few on here and save my money.

Why would SJM go for Ferguson? What has he achieved at this level? Hark back to TB1. The replacement had plenty of managerial experience. Look at what SSC achieved and he had experience to spare. For these reasons it will not be young Darren. Not at this time.

If the club appoint either Cotterill or Ince I will hand back my season ticket.

The majority of Fulham fans were not impressed when Hogdeson got the job, look at them now (could of it been us)?

paultheroyal 11/8 Ferguson

Hmmm. Interesting. Not my preference to be honest.

paultheroyal 12/1 Curbishley

Now that I'm surprised about, thought he'd be more like 20 or 25/1. In an ideal world where you could persuade any manager to manage any club, money was no object and cloths were never cut (and reading won every week and the x factor didn't exist) this would be the guy I'd pick.

Pardew anyone ? A lot of water under the bridge since 2003. Doing a good job at Southampton but knows he can't get them up because of the 10 point deduction. Bring Murty back as his assistant. Parky would still be my choice though, with Murty again. Pride in the Royals is what we need, not belief in the Bumper Book Of Tactics,(has Brendan put it on Ebay yet ? ).

We dont want anyone associated to RFC. We need a manger with fresh ideas and not hanging out the back of Madejski.

I wanted Curbs last summer and even more so now....unless the messiah fancies returning after his break from the game.

Don't think it's the right time or circumstances for Coppell, but I'd welcome him back with open arms. Curbs would be my first choice.

Ferguson has done plenty to suggest he's got the gift and nothing to suggest he hasn't.

Not keen on Southgate.

The rest I don't know enough about.

Is this realistic? In the summer I thought the answer was definitely no. Now I think it's even more of a no. Or is Curbs getting so bored that a relegation fight might be more fun than sweeping the leaves off the gold course (i.e. the back garden)

Paul Hart 12/1?

I reckon he's very much in the mould of a poor man's Coppell, SJM could probably see himself doing business with him.

Actually I wouldn't rule out SSC himself coming back, would depend on what's on offer in terms of rebuilding funds I would think.

I reckon we could go for the best choice out there... Aidy Boothroyd. Doing a fantastic job at truly a club will a small base, small fanbase & not a lot to play with.

He is the man to direct us out of this sh*t

Darren Ferguson had comparativley large budgets in both league one and league two. I think we will be looking for someone who can sell our existing skwad, sign freebies on no wages and satisfy the Hobnob need for a top two finish.

I think its possible. Curbs has been out of the loop for a while, is used to managing at this level and Reading would be a place not a millon miles from where he lives. Why not? He would be a great choice.
Either way Madejski must get an experienced man in this time around.

Well as I say, could well be the best man for the job, but I'd be hugely surprised if it was him...
