Sir Rodger Doyle adamh4608 Royalee wouldfergurson be ablie to sort out the mess rodger has left us in
Coppell's mess, get it right.
sometime think you dont know what your talking about i have repleyed to you many time you use coppell as a scape goat all rodgers has done is taken us backward get it right
Coppell blew our future last season, then walked leaving someone else to sort it out. Brendan wanted to be at Reading and I am sure tried his best for our club. Some of the people that have posted on here will feel very good tonight, possibly feeling some form of victory. If you do feel anything, it should be sympathy. If any of you had taken on the substantial rebuilding job at Reading and worked as hard as you could to put things right, only to be sacked by mutual consent; how would you feel? I personally feel that Rodgers was appointed far too late to turn things around. January 2007 was the start of the rot that left us in this position. Coppell made huge mistakes that led to our relegation and repeated them again a year later with a squad of players who should have won this league let alone limped into the play-offs. I don't know who should get the job next and to be honest I don't care. Whoever it is will be left with an impossible task. A squad stripped of it's prize assets, a squad low on confidence who have lost a manager they believed in.
Hardest of all, will be the task of trying to work in the shadow of Steve Coppell with no money to spend from a Chairman who wants out.
Good-luck to the new manager. They will have my full support, as I am actually a supporter of my club and I think the now vilified Brendan Rogers was aswell.[/quote]
Had money, failed. Paint it whatever way you want but he was sacked because he wasn't good enough. P.S. A Reading fan wouldn't of nicked players from our academy while at their world class former club.
