andrew1957 I know others did not agree but I have enjoyed the style of play so much more this season and felt results were not far away - but we will never know now if Rodgers would have failed or gone on to be a legend.
For me the only candidate now is Ferguson.
I think BR made his position very difficult with the Dellor interview - even I thought he made a compete tw** of himself on Saturday and I doubt Sir John was impressed.

holsgrove breaks a leg I think Lee Clark will develop into a really good manager but its a little too soon to appoint him. I would really like Billy Davies but that would be a non starter

holsgrove breaks a leg It has to be someone with some relative experience this time so Ferguson fits nicely into that category. There is something bugging me though about whether RFC would be the right move for him at this time. O Driscoll I think has made a bigger name for himself and has had time to develop his management skills quietly and effectively. I think Lee Clark will develop into a really good manager but its a little too soon to appoint him. I would really like Billy Davies but that would be a non starter now that Forest are looking strong promotion candidates. As long as its not Lawrie Sanchez or Tony Adams!!

rhroyal We need a man who has experience in this division and has been successful in this league before. That rules out Ferguson and Tisdale in my book.
