Yep, good show again lads.

Listening to you talk about the Royals Rendevous bought back so many memories, like the time my mate Hair Bear won a hundred quid on the fruity befor a Tuesday night game against Bristol City in the Leyland DAF cup, or whatever it was called back then.

Cheers for the heads up to people.

New show is indeed up - we were just about to start recording when the news of BR's departure came through so not your usual format.

Bit late but never the less! good effort in such a short space of time and cheers for all of your hard work over the last 12 months! here's to more next year (and more wins for you to talk about)

In the spirit of things, what was the best show/funniest moment from the podcasts this year?

Top stuff again chaps, good listen.

I have got another Aussie Royal listening now, his name is Micky "The Boot". Myself and Mick's first match was a friendly at Elm Park in 1990 vs Oxford and we turned up on the night and entered the first turnstile which happened to be the away end, we didn't know and when we politely clapped Readings first goal the away fans started giving us filthy looks. We were then given a police escort all the way up the sideline in front of the stand to the Tilehurst Road end to enjoy the rest of the match, won 2-1 by Reading iirc, a standout was a goal from Lee Payne.

Great show again guys - haven't missed one since you started doing the podcasts.

Now it looks like McDermott is getting the job for this year at last, surely we need to replace them in the backroom staff. Dolan is taking the reserves at the moment, but can he do that, run the academy and the scouting? Surely this is the perfect opportunity to get Murts in as he won't be playing at Southampton this season. What do you think?

Sounds like a great idea. But the question is, would JM be willing to pay his wages? Doubt Murts will do it for free! If the club did not need him then, personally, I don't think they need him now.

Good show again fellas.

Just like to comment on the FA Cup. From a very young age my family had FA Cup had parties and all the kids would go to sleep at 7 o'clock or so and we would be woken up by drunken parents at midnight to watch the match. I would look forward to it all year, it meant so much to us to watch a live match as the Cup final was the only live match we got.

I reckon you could pinpoint the exact moment it lost it's magic, when Manchester United withdrew from the competition about 10 or so years ago to play in the Club Championship. Still, it'd be good to see RFC go all the way this season!
