Notwithstanding the fact that he won The Championship Title with Norwich City I think he's terrible.

Glenn Roeder actually has a great record of taking teams in a relegation scrap and guiding them comfortably to safety. However he has a 6 month or so shelf life. After saving them in his first season, he makes them infinitely shitter than they were in the first place with his second. Not a long term option, but if we're looking for survival......

There's as much chance of Coppell coming back as Kingsley Royal getting the job , as long as JM is around it'll be another on the cheap replacement like Parkinson

One suspects that Rodgers' men are all dead men walking so this, and the fact that our best players this season have been Rodgers' men (Bertrand, McAnuff, Raziak) leads me to fear a rudderless and somewhat demotivated team will take to the pitch on Saturday and thus suffer a heavy defeat.

5-0 would not surprise me.

No one has mentioned Paul Jewell, not sure what his circumstances are but maybe a good option?

I think people need to look at how much Ferguson spent at Posh before they talk about working on a budget.

Joe Lewis Signed for £500,000
Ryan Bennett Signed for £500,000
Gabriel Zakuani Signed for £375,000
George Boyd Signed for £260,000
Tommy Rowe Signed for £225,000
Toumani Diagouraga Signed for £200,000
Lee Frecklington Signed for £175,000
Dominic Green Signed for £175,000
Aaron McLean Signed for £150,000
Sergio Torres Signed for £150,000
Craig Mackail-Smith Signed for £125,000

That's a massive spend for a L2/L1 side.

Anyone >>>> Sanchez

I voted O'Driscoll as think he is great, it would be good to watch nice football (I enjoyed watching the Rodgers playing style) but I cant see it happening.

As much as I like the guy, I wouldn't want Southgate.

(Note: Think it will be Ferguson. If he was number 1 choice in the summer and now he would cost no compensation, anything else would be weird..)

If I was McAnuff I'd use these next few games to engineer a move.

It won't be Paul Hart as he has signed up to manage QPR till the end of the season.

Voted Parky. A former Royal who's doing well at Charlton! (Despite getting them relegated...)
Would be a fans favourite, surely?

winchester_royal Whoever we appoint, it is critical we all get behind him and the players. The next month or so is critical for the future of this club, and we can't do it divided.

A huge performance from us fans at Brizzle on Saturday will go a long way.

+1
Go for it lads!

Let's not let the fans decide...

the list is pretty shocking in fairness:

Burley - sacked by Ipswich, Hearts and Scotland, wouldn't be able to afford him and he wouldn't be able to do anything with this squad.

Coppell - destroyed everything Pardew and Madejski built yet enjoys hero worship for 2 good seasons in 6. Won't want to come back and face the music for what he realises he's done.

Sanchez - failed at Wycombe, failed at Fulham - does Alan Partridge want him though?

Cotterill - Burnley improved as soon as he left, mediocre to poor.

Curbishley - absolutely no way he'd come here with the lack of resources, LOL at him getting a mention, he's not stupid enough to take the job.

O'Driscoll - wouldn't come here from Doncaster as they don't have an idiot for a chairman.

Paul Hart - kicked out of Forest, Barnsley and Portsmouth, no thanks.

Hoddle - failed at Spurs and Wolves with reasonable money available, I don't think Jimmy Kebe would understand Eileen Drewery.

Tisdale - Doubt he'd come here - there must be better jobs available to him and he's enjoying it where he is.

Parkinson - Hated at Hull, has so far achieved nothing at Charlton.

Southgate - LOL

Ferguson - best candidate on paper, but he'd only work if he was backed financially, which is very unlikely given Madejski is 'cutting the cloth'.
