I don't even want to think about how much more of a mess we'd be in were it not for these 2.

Indeed. Not everyone used to sing the praises of McAnuff though.

Count me as one who was not thrilled with the signing of Jobi. I'll admit he's been fantastic.

Have to say today Jobi didnt look the most interested today but has been fantastic up to now, but The Sig again did everything that was asked of him and could easily have two goals to his name today if Kebe had laid his major chance across the goal instead of shooting.

Yep - not one of McAnuff's best performances. I worry how much the departure of his mentor has adversely affected him - he was most definitely a "Rodgers player".

Yes, I agree with this. I think that McAnuff's last two performances have looked pretty disinterested.

Wouldn't you be? I'm not remotely interested in watching this shower of shite, must almost be as bad when you are one bright spark in a team of losers.

Not disinterested - but Swansea knew how to play against him; their left back did a good job on him.

Jobi's post rodgers form is very worrying. McAnuff clearly is someone with great potential who has never fulfilled his promise.

I fear by sacking br it means he will never fulfill his promise with Reading and we will make much less money selling him on.

Another reason why sacking Rodgers was shortsighted and foolish.

Any premiership club with a decent Championship scouting system will most probably be keeping tabs on Gylfi.

We lose him, we go down.

Maybe.

We could get £5m, spend that on replacements.

I don't think we'll sell him in Jan. He will go in the summer though imo.

If we sell gylfi not only are we doomed, we wont see a PENNY of his transfer fee. Madejski will have that put straight into his bank to run his businesses like the other transfer fee's.

Not sure it is as cut and dried as that, personally I think that without improving our striking options we have had it. Gylfi has been a rare shining light in a quite absymal season thus far.
