Nice way to boost post count, and encourage debate.

Oh, sorry.
Reading will have some fight - just because they'll be up against a big side.
4-1 Livers.
Aqilani (or whatever it is), N Gog x 2 and Benayoun or somefin'.
Sigurdsson will score again.

Sadly for all the Liverpool h8rs on here it will be at least 100-0 to the reds, even after Carragher is sent off 20 minutes in

In the real world probably 4-1 Liverpool if Torres plays, 2-1 if he doesn't, but let's be honest it doesn't really matter does it?

Jinx To be honest I couldn't give a flying oxf*rd if the players are all up for it and we beat Liverpool.

It's the league that counts and we should be up for it against Palace, Scunthorpe, Swansea and Plymouth

Right on, who cares if we win and get relegated at the end anyhow.

Our pacey centre back pair stiffle Liverpool only allowing Torres 5 touches during the match

Reading 0 Liverpool 5 (Torres 5)

Our highly ambitious Owner is delighted with the day when asked his opinion he said

" I was so pleased how the day went, it has been a while since the ground was full, we will have made loads of dosh from this one, and with the finance coming in from player sales in January, my holiday in the summer is looking more likely, oh yes and what was the result of the cup thingy, who were we playing ? did we win ? ah well whatever I am sure the team tried there hardest"

Priceless!

Is your ol' man the geezer who was in front of me when I went to the ticket office to purchase tickets for this Sat.?

Conversation went along the lines of -

Senior Citizen, "What time's kick off?"
Sales Lad, "5.15"
SC, "5.15. Why 5.15?"
SL, "'Cos it's on the TV"
SC, "Oh,on the TV. In that case I'll not bother gettin' a ticket then". SC turns round and walks out of office.

In that case why don't we all just watch the game at home and leave the packed South Stand full of Scousers to sing their merry little hearts out. As in "Jingle Bells,Jingle Bells,Jingle all the way". Whilst we all bellow at our screens "Live round the corner......"

I would say 'Happy viewing'.Then again why bother if you reckon we're gonna get mullered.

 He's a Chelsea "fan" and I use the term lightly, as I suspect he's not been anywhere near Stamford Bridge for a few years. He's just a WUM.

Not being funny but Madejski has had enough of my money this season forking out £500+ on a ST. He nor the team deserve any more of my money.
I'll sit on my sofa and watch it on HD, muh more logical to me. Least I can hide behind my pillow in embarrassment after goal 5 goes in for Pool.

Shall be watching this in front of roaring fire in the Nags so the result will probably wash over me...

Reading 1 Liverpool 3

after we take a shock lead after 8 mins through Rasiak, Liverpool score twice before half time before rounding off the win on the break in the 87th minute.

Torres has a knock so expect Ngog to start and Torres to come off the bench and get a hat trick as Reading hold out for the first 45. Wonder if McD will try Mills and Hamer - nothing to lose surely....

I just have to be the eternal optimist as I suspect the vast majority of fans who actually attend matches in the vast majority of leagues are. If we get beaten by Liverpool then "as expected" and "it's only the cup". If we win then "I was there when we beat Liverpool again" - sounds much better than "the atmosphere in the living room was electric"...
