Just read on the BBC Gossip Column that West Brom have bid £1.5m for him. Palace would be foolish to accept that!!!

Big money move from Barcelona for Hoffenheim's Carlos Eduardo could be on the cards.

I'd be very surprised if Edin Džeko remained at Wolfsburg, and not at all surprised if he ended up with one of the bigger Premier League teams.

Do you think Milan have the money, then? He'll go for more than €20m - Milan have had a bid of that size rejected already - and I'd got the impression Berlusconi's days of massive 'investment' were over. Bear in mind that VfL have the backing of Volkswagen so don't have to sell with any sort of urgency. Milan's Huntelaar is regaining a semblance of form of late, too, and I imagine the bid for Džeko was contingent on the incoming fee from the Dutchman's sale so perhaps that's gone cold. The other rumors I've heard are Arsenal and Chelsea, however, and given that the former tend not to spend such sums and Chelsea don't need a new striker of Džeko's standing beyond the end of the African Cup of Nations, I still wouldn't like to firmly guess where he'll end up.

He'd be perfect for United imo. They can't afford him though.

I reckon he'll stay put till the summer.

Beckford (unsuprisingly) heavily linked with a move

Newcastle seem to lead the chase

That would be a good move for him. Very likely to be playing Premier League football next season, with six months to work himself into the first team and forge partnerships with a baby step up before the PL.
