Liverpool fans views....

by thefruits » 02 Jan 2010 19:57

In line with the other superfans, I think that was a very good result against very dangerous opposition. Their record is impressive with 2 wins out of 24 home games. If we hadn't have put in a brilliant performance they could've made it 3 out of 25. We've clearly turned the corner after our win at Villa. We're brilliant.

.......

Reading were really good, still, we should have beat them.

At least we're still in the comp and our first teamers got a good run out.

I also thought McAnuff played really well, he's a Liverpool fan too apparently, lets hope he bags a own goal in the Kop end.

LOL at their fans blaming the pitch. We played better than them, get over it.

LOL at their claims that their fans were good!! What are they like when they are bad?!!

Thought they were some of the quietest away support we've seen for ages, despite being allowed to stand en-masse throughout the game. Our Welsh visitors of a week ago easily outsang/chanted them.

Appalling support from Liverpool today. Expected much more.

Us on the other hand, I thought our fans were quite good today.

Many iterations of "We'll tw@t them at Anfield." Yeah, and that makes today OK then? The funny thing is you'll hardly find a Reading fan who'll say we were much better than just OK today. Our cup finaLOL.

Typical Bin dippers! Blame the ref, blame the pitch, blame the opposition for turning up and not rolling over!
Why is it never their own fault! All ways looking to blame others.
Liverpool fc.....embarassed by nothing offended by everything!

Quite good?? I thought we were excellent today, particularly in the first half. As for your sat nav?? Me thinks you need to fine tune your hearing.

And then there's No Fixed Abode saying that we were going to get trounced 7-0.......

Say no more.

I actually hate Scousers - self pitying, theiving mongrels - it's always someone else's fault when things go wrong for them - they are morally abhorrent - notice on the beeb site not one of them acknowledged how well we'd played and simply moaned in even more self pity instead.

Anyone would think they lost today

I won't spend time explaining but there's an innuendo there if you look for it.

to be honest, if you have a little read of that thread, there are loads more moaning about the lack of effort and talent in their team than making excuses.

Full marks to Tyldesly (sp?). After Siggi had his shirt pulled and got pushed in the back, CT said " If that had been Gerrard in front of the Kop he might have got the decision". Did any of the Scouse fans complain about this decision?

A lot of comments on their site are pretty disrespectul towards our club. It would be sweet if our "shit Championship side" dumped them out of the Cup at their place.

tbf, a lot of comments on OUR site are pretty disrespectful towards our club.

Nevertheless, having been sat amongst a lot of these so called "scousers" cooing over Torres and c'moning Stevie in the Northstand.nothing surprises me.
