Coppell

I’m thinking perhaps prematurely, was Coppell’s appearance at the Mad stad more than just commentary? he seemed to get a allot of attention from the East stand crew, are we gunna see a new manager appointment in the near future? personally i would like to see him back now, in these last few dark days we have been experiencing, i feel he could be the answer we need, today i saw a Reading of 2 years ago, on the ball and going for everything, certainly made my 150 mile drive home easier

Glad tht you enjoyed it....it made my 15 minute trip more pleasent than usual.

According to the BBC Berks interview, Sir Steve says that he has'nt called the club, and the club hasn't called him since Brendans departure.
He gives his backing to MaccyD tho'

I'd love him to see him come back but it doesn't seem likely.
Oh for the record we got back to the Cotswolds from the park and walk inside 80 minutes. 8)

Interesting that Rider asked Sir Steve if he was taking over the job? Strange question to ask, there has to be rumours at all levels, I would run through the streets of Swindon naked wearing a Royals flag if Sir Steve took over again!!

Love Sir Steve total legend to our club would love to see him come back if not as a manager what about giving squeeky hammond the boot and giving Steve a director of football/advisory role would be great for both parties and I'm sure McD would love Steve's input and ideas on how to move things forward.

Coppell, Hammond and McDermott all had a nice drink together after the game.

Jonny Fordham's twitter told me,

Stay away Coppell you're rubbish.

The highly intelligent persons who wanted you out and the saviour Mr Rodgers in were right, and haven't made a complete fool of themselves at all for the second time running.
