How many loanees can you play in a match? We already have at least two likely to play a part, possibly three depending on the exact nature of the Howard signing, there's always been a bit of confusion over whether we actually signed him or took him on loan with a buy at the end. (i think bought)

The official site says it's a permanent deal on a 3 year contract.

If we have McDermott in as a temporary manager to see us through the rest of the season I think loan deals would be fine as we don't need to add more players to this squad that a new manager might not fancy.

doesn't mean it wasn't/ isn't true. Maybe they were told no so then extended the loan. Maybe they want both.
