Mike Hunt This proves the ambition that the club has to reach the Premier League.
Well I will be expecting a similar soundbite from the madman.

Archie's penalty My Stoke fan mate has this to say:
'He's a good solid right/left back. Will do an excellent job for you in the Championship, but no longer Premiership quality. Can lack a litlle bit of pace, but is very experienced and reliable. Can also score the occasional goal too. He has heaps of experience and will also marshall your defence if it needs to be. Was club captain for a time too.'

Yeh, nice one - if you run out of actual evidence to back up your unpleasant, repetitive agenda, just make shit up.

CMRoyal This is a good signing, with the bonus that Jay Tabb is now freed up to bolster the midfield when he gets over his injury.

And who gets dropped so that Tabb can play in midfield?

Focher still not on OS or in the papers today, have the chronicle taken a bit of a flyer on this one??
Royals caretaker boss Brian McDermott told the Chronicle: "We've signed Andy on loan for the rest of the season.
"He hasn't played much for Stoke City so he's been training to us and he looks good.
"He's a hungry, experienced right-back and he's done well at this level before when he captained Stoke to promotion to the Premier League.
"He's still only 30, he's a good age and it's a good signing for us."
