brighton_royal Nutmeg, perfect cross. BG.

What do you call that little jinky backheel to himself before the nutmeg? Is there a football term for that move?

Big Big fan of Gunner. Awesome tonight, 2nd half onwards my MOTM. Shane we love you  but I think the turning point was the introduction of Jimmy K

If he hasn't become it before tonight - then he certainly is a cult Reading player for me now.

I am so proud and somewhat pissed. I predicted before the game by SMS that we would do it. If you dont believe me then PM me before the 4th round so I can show you the SMS!

Everyone apart from Kebe was brilliant. Fed's handling wa all that could be asked.

I love this club!

Nah - Kebe was Kebe - but he did waste some vital time so I'm more than happy to forgive him"

IMO it would be typical of Reading to make the final / win the FA Cup now, yet still go down.

Either that or go out really limply to Burnley and carry on as normal in the league.

Still doesn't change today being oxf*rd superb!

Actually I'm going for Karacan for MOTM. I thought he was incredible in midfield yet again.

Simply must play every game he is fit for.

I'd give a joint award to the back 4 including Bertrand. Were more than capable of coping with the attack of Liverpool who we all know would have punished us given half a chance.

Zammo Gunnarsson

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

A performance that gave hope to all old codgers everywhere, me included :P

Meanwhile, back in the studio, Steve Coppell went for one of his favourites who he rarely dropped as we sank without trace from the Premiership and tossed away a swift return to the top flight.

Apparently, Ivar was tonight's man of the match, as he probably was in Steve's eyes the day we let in 7 at Portsmouth only for the entire defence to keep their places for the next match :|

Thank God we've moved on 'cause he clearly hasn't...................

I thought they were both fantastic to be honest.

Gunnarsson was fantastic and he excelled even more in extra time when of course the decision had already been made.

to be fair any of Ivar, Boris, Karacan, McAnuff or Church could have won the award and wouldn't have got too many arguements from me.

I'm not saying Ivar had a bad game, (the whole defence did well) but it was so typical of Coppell to plump for Ingimarsson, one of his undroppables, when there were other more stand out performers............Gunnar obviously being one.

Sorry but I can't imagine Coppell winning tonight with this squad or last seasons and I hope Brian gets his chance for the rest of the campaign .................it will surely be very hard to deny him after that fantastic display.

Reading wouldn't have got a day like this with Coppell in charge sadly, he wasn't a cups man when here. I shudder to think of the team he'd have named tonight.

Since Fergie jnr has gone elsewhere there is no one else out there in Reading's sort of bracket that is worth bringing in now. Mcdermott may as well have the job till the end of the season.
