Best nutmeg I've seen - as he knocks the ball through legs he's not watching to see if it's succeeded, he's looking to see where to cross it!

Great servant to the club, superb performance last night, but one performance doesn't change my mind about him - he's coming to the end of his career so we could move him into a coaching role at the end of the season but I think this should be his last year on the playing staff.

It's a great shame he didn't more games in our midfield when he still had the legs to do it week in week out and Steve Coppell not giving him MoM tonight probably says much about the reasons why.

To be fair, Coppell chose MOTM before the end of normal time.

Fantastic performance at Anfield last night by Bryn.... The next question is will he keep his place now that we have signed Andy Griffin?

If McDermott takes the Coppell approach to selection--which he seems to do--he will play Bryn at right back, with Griffin on the bench. Then let Griffin on late to get the feel of the team and begin moving towards match fitness. This would seem common sense to me.
