handbags_harris To be fair, this is the sort of thing that youth team players used to do in years gone by. What's changed...?

Not so lomg ago first team and reserves would also have been asked to help. Would serve as a good warm up before training...
No mention of a free ticket a la Pompey I see.

Funny how such a well run club can't manage to clear some snow without getting free help from the fans...

On Soccer Saturday earlier, Ronnie Moore and his coaching staff were clearing the snow at Rotherham. Why can't our coaching staff do this?

Hasn't it all melted now so what is the point of this thread - train indoors you saps until it melts! Anyway the Icelanders should be used to snow?

Was a time not long ago when our players could walk on water. Now they can't even handle snow!

The snow we have had over the last two months is about the same if not more than Iceland would have over the same time period. It's Greenland that gets all the snow. Iceland is green and just cold because of Arctic wind.

You can be done for child abuse just by getting the kids to clean boots or even their own dressing rooms. People wonder why academies produce such wet and weak players.

OK - so if Greenland is covered in snow.... why call it Greenland?

Yes, I can see why you're quite so outraged here. It's utterly unreasonable that when the football clubs asks STAR to pass a message onto supporters they do exactly that.

I think the assumption that fans haven't got jobs, mortages and families to deal with without being sniggered at by our overpaid stars as we clear their pitch - ought to be sufficient reason Ian. On the other hand the hotel and call centre has plenty of willing paid for hands that could help.
