Didn't watch us much two seasons ago then...

Spurs 9-1 Wigan a few weeks ago, Ian?

Don't pay much attention to the Premier League tbh, but I was aware there was one close fairly recently.

 Yes it does. But given I "Don't pay much attention to the Premier League tbh" I didn't know what the exact score was, just that someone had dicked someone. I probably did know it was Spurs if I really thought about it.

Why do people pretend not to watch or take any interest in the Premier League  do they think it makes them look like a super cool "real" football fan?

In my case it's because I don't actually give that much of a toss about it. I'm interested in my team and have only a vague passing interest in the rest of football unless it directly affects my team.

Not too hard to understand surely? :| Even for you TBM...

you've just sat through 90mins of a game that has no interest to "your team" and you expect me to believe that.

You and spacey would get on well

I wonder if there has ever been a live televised game with 10 goals in it before. IIRC Spurs v Wigan wasnt on Sky, the only game I can think of remotely near werre Liverpool 5-4 Alaves in the Uefa Cup final, (think that was AET) and Liverpool beating Besiktas 8-zip in the Champions League....

Was the Arsenal Spurs one a few years back 5-4 or 6-4 at the end?

Fat Sam really is a twat isn't he. The ref didn't cost you the game, your defender getting sent off for a stupid foul did. Just for once accept that you and your team just weren't good enough over the two matches.

Another manager under pressure, trying to buy himself some more time by blaming others for his team having pretty ordinary players. The sending off was the final nail in the coffin, Blackburn just arent' very good. They will be another team like Bolton and Stoke who are utter crap but will probably stay up due to this being the worst PRemier League since football was invented in 1992.

It is typical Fat Sam in that there is always something in a game to blame for the defeat rather than HIS OWN TEAM. Such as ungracious fat oaf.

Owen Coyle seems to have been taking lessons from him aswell. His teams can't just lose to a better side on the day, when there is a marginal offside decision etc to blame.

and of course my own personal sour grapes merchant....step forward Phil Brown!

Even better is trying to claim that Agbonlahor's deflection was a handball.
a) it wouldn't have been deliberate.
b) it would have had to have hit his arm as handball isn't given for the ball hitting your hip.
