West Stand Flash God what a defeatest fool McD is.
We need big hearts. We need decent players and a striker you pr*ck.

There is literally nothing he could say that you would applaud,

I would have applauded him had he said 'That C*** Madejski can stuff his job, I'm not going to be the fall guy for his lack of proper investment.'

I really hope Madejski does leave now. No one deserves idiots like you abusing them.

royalsmudge I very seldom post, but I'll offer my thoughts nonetheless

1. Rodgers was a kn0bber, with a very iffy record in the transfer market, but he should never have been sacked. If he'd stayed we'd be in better shape than this and I believe we'd have stayed up

I can't say I agree. Our away wins came mainly against teams that were woefully out of form. Two of them sacked their managers straight afterwards.

A big problem for us is that we get outfought too easily, and get downhearted the moment we go behind. With our goalscoring record, it's not surprising, but had we not faced Barnsley, Coventry and Sheffiled Weds sides on the verge of slitting their wrists, we'd probably be bottom with just two wins.

We can't compete, which is bad news in a competitive division. I don't believe we'd have done any better under Rodgers either.

4. We have probably the worst strikeforce, back 4 (less Bertrand), central midfield, along with a highly suspect keeper in the division. That is the reason we are where we are.

So of our starting 11, nine are the worst players in the division in each position? Or do we just have the worst defence, midfield, attack and goalkeeper in the division?

As I said above, we are weak both physically and mentally. We have a loser's mentality as we are so used to losing after being this way for a year. For me, Saturday is crucial. Win, and we can get the ball rolling and maybe get a bit of momentum for a spell with plenty of winnable games.

Schards#2 My god there's some utter shit on this thread.

We had a run of tricky league games, that ends on Saturday.

Dry you eyes, grow a pair, back the boys.

There certainly is now you've posted on it - are you enjoying our improvement since you got what you wanted Schards?

paultheroyal Remember a vast majority on here two years ago moaning about predictability of premiership!

Now from here on in it's real football. Every game is vital. No meaningless matches, ten wins out of twenty and it's job done!

Reading FC will get that striker, the fans will rally, we can and will put the performances in and together we can stay up.

Believe!

 i love it when 'the picture' comes out

Tricky they might be, but not that tricky. Plymouth, swansea, Bristol City, and Sheff Utd are all games that we could or should have got at least an average points haul from with the 'names' we have at our disposal. Forest are on fire so will exclude them.

2 points from 15 from those 5 games, conceeding 11 goals and scoring 4 is shit, and not good enough.

I disagree. Sheff Utd was always going to be a tough one to get a result from, away to a good side on form at home.

Bristol City - we were let down (again) by not taking our chances in a game we dominated.

Swansea was an even game against a good side.

Plymouth was appalling.

Nail on head time. We are shit in front of goal. What is the football club doing about it because whatever it is at the moment, it sure isn't working!

He's done more than enough to deserve it.

He milked the plaudits and he fully deserves the brickbats he is now getting.

At least we agree on one thing though - I really hope he leaves now too.

When i read crap like that, i think back to 1990, Elm Park, a club going nowhere, promotion in 1994, the play off final in 1995, the building of a state of the art stadium in 1998, promotion in 2002, play offs in 2003, a record breaking season in 2006, and premier league football between 2006-2008, and one win off Europe during that time.

I actually liked your post until I saw this bit.

I think our CM is one of our strengths it just gets used in the wrong way. 2 DM's are you kidding me!
Federici has done very well this season and I find it hard to believe you hadn't noticed the only player in a yellow shirt save our skin on numerous occasions.

I like Karacan, he should have been given a longer run by Rodgers. I don't think Cisse, Matejovsky, Howard, Gunnarsson have done anything of any note when played in the middle all season.
Everything good has come from out wide, either Sigurdsson's goals, McAnuff in general, even the odd flash of brilliance from Kebe amidst the general incompetence.

Federici has made some incredible saves, but he has been suspect. Some of the goals he's conceded this season have been woeful.
I don't not rate him, but in comparison to Hahnemann, who'll vie with Doyle for being Wolves player of the season just about, there is no comparison

Fed hasn't had anywhere near the experience Hahnemann has had. He started off for some Mediocre team in Australia and then came to england having numerous trials. The only league experience he's had has been on loan at Southend for a couple months and playing for us. To compare him to hahnemann at this early stage in his career is unfair IMO.

And then you conveniently forget how the barsteward has so quickly destroyed all of that. You also overlook the reasons why we missed out on Europe. Oh and don't forget the sale of the century when we failed at Wembley.

Go ahead, keep licking the man's arse - when you finally realise what he's like and what he's done, you're going to feel like shyte anyway.

I have been saying it all season. I wouldn't call that particularly reactive.

I kinda agree but Mr Mad has, in the past 12 months, managed to undo most of the previous18 years of steady work.

Lots of arguing going on but one thing I'm sure we're agreed on is that if we don't win on Saturday (and no, a draw is not good enough) we may as well pack our bags ready for Rochdale, et al. Even McD appears to be acknowledging that is essential that we win on Saturday (which is a dangerous thing for a manager to do - in case the team doesn't!).

Quite simply we're starting to run out of games (already).
