Ok, i'm worried now. Have to say, robbie keanes a good player. Nationality nothing to do with it of course. Duff, leon best, doyle and shane long were the others being linked.

Robbie Keane was a life long Liverpool fan when he signed for them, now he's a life long Celtic fan. Wish he would make up his mind.

Kenya PM Minister Raila Odinga had tried to secure his country's star McDonald Mariga a £7million move to Manchester City by phoning Gordon Brown.

Midfielder Mariga, 20, was refused a work permit by a panel that included David Pleat and Dave Bassett and Inter Milan stepped in with a four-year deal.

what?

Work permits are review by panels (I think with at least 3 men) who assess if there is a valid reason for the non-EU player being bought as opposed to one of the thousands of players who don't need a work permit.

The panels are made up of ex-pro's, managers, and I think administrators who basically just make a judgement call on it (where the player doesn't meet the more factual requriements such as caps etc).

...or did you just mean that those two were racist and so no wonder a black lad didn't get approved?

Isn't every kid in Ireland a Celtic and Liverpool fan though?

You should know that supporting a team from afar means you can have as many as you like without it getting in the way of the other teams!

It's a bit like being a Chelsea fan, yet being a member of a Reading FC chat forum. Most confusing ?!

Majority of Reading fans have two clubs mate. So you shouldn't be too confused on that one.
